Toddle-In is our Mother and Toddler group on Wednesday mornings from 10:00am to11:30am. It is a time for games and stories for the children and a chat and cup of tea for mums and carers. This is a very popular event with dozens of mums (and grannies and others) participating with their little charges.
This is for the under-3's from 10.05am to 10.45am (approx) on Sundays. There is gentle care for babies and lots of toys and activities for the older ones. We aim to provide a safe, loving and fun environment where children feel valued and accepted, and where they are encouraged to build friendships.
10.05am to 10.45am (approx) on Sundays during the 9.45 Service. There are activities for 3-5 year-olds based on "Click" materials produced by the Good Book Company, integrating where possible with the topics used in the 9.45 Service and other Sunday Club groups. We aim to establish basic Biblical truths in an exciting and enjoyable way.

There are occasions when our church family meets together as a whole.
– the first 20 minutes of this is a time for everyone to worship God together and is consciously made “child-friendly”, whilst keeping in mind the adults present.
– occasionally speakers are invited who have the special God-given ability to engage an audience of all ages.
– these are held 3 times a year. We meet to celebrate Communion together as a church family, and then share a simple meal and fellowship.
– the last one was held in July 2011 at Cloverley Hall. These are great times to relax together, learn more about God and about each other.
– Ford’s Lane recently celebrated its 125th Anniversary. It was a wonderful time to praise God for His faithfulness over so many years, to enjoy a Fun Day together and a Ceildh. On other occasions, when the sun shines, church members offer their home venues for BBQs. |
