There are many activities at Ford's Lane for all ages from babies to adults! This page describes the groups available for young children up to age 11.
Tuesday Club
Every Tuesday (except in School holidays)
approximately 30 children of Junior school age (7-11 years old)
meet for one hour from 6.30pm in the Church Hall.
The Loft upstairs is a well equipped area for
‘chilling out’: play-station, video, table air hockey, pool, table
tennis, music and a tuck shop.
Toddle-In
Toddle-In is our Mother and Toddler group on Wednesday mornings from 10:00am to11:30am. Time for games and stories for the children and a chat and cup of tea for mums and carers. A popular event with dozens of mums (and grannies and others) participating with their little charges.
Sunday Club: Crèche
Mission Statement: To provide a safe, loving and fun environment where children feel valued and accepted, and where they are encouraged to build friendships.
For the under-3's from 10.05am to 10.45am on Sundays. Care for babies and lots of toys and activities for the older ones.
Sunday Club: Sparklers
Mission Statement: To establish basic Biblical truths in an exciting and enjoyable way.
10.05am to 10.45am on Sundays during the 9.45 Service. Activities for 3-5 year-olds based on Scripture Union "Light" materials so that it is integrated with the topics used in the 9.45 Service and other Sunday Club groups.
Sunday Club: Splash and Xstream
Mission Statement: To enable children to grow in FAITH through FUN and FRIENDSHIP with Jesus, with each other and with the church.
Our senior Sunday Club group meeting at 10.05am until 10.45am on Sundays. For 7-11 year olds, it also has activities based on Scripture Union "Light" materials.
